FAQ

  • Who is Alethea Global Cooperative?

Alethea Global is a worker cooperative and climate justice training consultancy built by members with relevant international education experience and knowledge to support the required transformation for a more equitable, climate-conscious, and sustainable sector.

  • Why do you offer different pricing and what is "low/middle-income" pricing?

Climate change is an urgent issue that will require our sector to speak the same language so we can take action at all levels as soon as possible. We wanted to ensure that the cost was not prohibitive and could be covered by a professional development budget. Traditionally, reduced pricing has been offered to those living or working in countries identified by the World Bank as "Low Income" or "Middle Income", and we think that's great. We also recognize that in addition to individuals from organizations in "Low Income" and "Middle Income" countries (primarily in the Global South) may have different budgets, we want to recognize that marginalized communities exist around the world and we want to ensure this course is accessible to as many practitioners in the sector as possible! We're working on the honour system on this one, so if you or your institution need the 30% discount to access the course because it is a different time, then don't hesitate to select that option!

  • Who are the course instructors?

The course is facilitated by members of Alethea Global Cooperative alongside guest lecturers. These guest lecturers are international education researchers and practitioners from the Alethea Global Knowledge Collective. You can read about three of them below. To learn more visit our website at https://alethea.global/team/

While we do have low/middle income pricing (30% off the regular price) available to anyone and everyone who needs it If you are interested in purchasing 10 or more registrations and would like to discuss bulk pricing, group learning facilitation, or customized training, please contact us at [email protected] and someone from our team will reply back within two business days.
